The Tracking & Training Weekend took place at Amhard Show Kennels, Thanks to Ann and Mel Hardy for the use of their field We had a fabulous weekend The NOERC Committee wish thank to Alan & Paul Rekert for spending some time Oooop Norf & sharing their passion for our breed.

"The weekends training was great. I have done tracking before, but had come across some issues with Zeus that no one had given me a solution to, that would work or made any sense. I needed to move Ra on in his tracking, so the 2 days with Alan and Paul were very key to me going in to the winter training months, I have all I need for now, to move the boys forward in their training.
I am especially difficult to train, as I have been a instructor myself for over 25 years, Alan and Paul were absolutely just what I needed. They have restored my confidence, given me so many tools to work with and restored my drive and motivation, I can not thank them both enough.
The members and participants from NOERC, were friendly and great fun to be with. Me and the boys were made to feel welcome and we had a great time. I would recommend this event to anyone and I am hoping to hear about the next training dates very soon. :) hint hint

"I'd just like to thank NOERC for putting on the tracking day weekend, We had an amazing time, Alan & Paul are very knowledgable ,and were extremely patient with us all.Also thanks to Seb for his input on Sunday another very clever chap :) . The fact that it wasn't just something for the "dog show" folks but something for Rottweiler "Owners" was brilliant, and every Rottweiler Club should take a leaf. NOERC have definately set the standard. The hospitality and welcome was second to none. so we'll see you all at the next event .

"Unfortunately i was unable to attend both days of the Training weekend, but what a fantastic day i had. I feel both Alan and his son Paul are a breath of fresh air when it comes to training our canine friends, especially to those who are new to these methods.
What i love is the passion they have for our wonderful breed. Quote Alan "It's not just the registered 'pretty' dogs, its the whole breed in general I love and want to help." How admirable I thought.
I learnt a lot that Sunday, and I'm sure everyone else did too. I put their methods into practice straight away and have seen great improvement.
The NOERC did an excellent job. It was well organised and they looked after everyone's well-being.
I really hope we can have more training weekends/days as i feel our breed and their owners benefit exceptionally! It also gives pet owners a chance to get involved rather than just the 'show folk'. After all the Rottweiler is OUR passion, so why not all get together and share it?!
